Tell us something we don’t know: I did the Kokoda Track back in 2010
Fitness background (Before Crossfit): Chasing children for the last 5 years, before then resistance training and running
Why did you start Crossfit: I needed to do something for myself and wanted a positive atmosphere with supportive people. I didn’t want to join a normal gym as I knew I wouldn’t go. I wanted something where people would push me and make sure I turn up every day. My hubby had been doing Crossfit and loved it so I thought why not give it a try! I did and like the everyone else, I’m addicted.
How has Crossfit changed your life: Besides being sore all the time (haha) and my hands being torn. I think it’s really shown me that you get out what you put in.
What’s your favourite WOD or movement: Deadlifts
What’s your current goal: To do Pull-ups and nail double unders
What do you love most about Crossfit Hunter: What’s not to love. The 5:30am crew are amazing! They have me in stitches laughing every morning and encourage me to keep going when you feel like quitting. Everyone encourages you and makes you do things you thought you couldn’t do. It really is a great place to train and it’s all because of the wonderful coaches and beautiful people that turn up every day and put in everything they have.
