What is CrossFit?

By Definition: CrossFit is constantly varied, functional movements performed at a high intensity. CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program that increases work capacity across broad time a model domains.

The movements are varied: This means you will never do the same movement two days in a row. Movements that are performed are that which develop speed, power and strength and will transfer to your everyday life.

Workouts are performed at a relatively high intensity. Relative understands that everyone is different and begin CrossFit at very different fitness levels.

What does that all mean? The program doesn’t focus on just one area of fitness. It will develop your strength, power, co-ordination, stamina, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. The workouts may be anywhere for 4 minutes up to 40 minutes. All workouts are scalable to each individual’s fitness levels and needs regardless of your current fitness level.
